I can't live without it and when I upgraded my RAM to 2.0 GB on my laptop and the system stopped working (hibernation), I was just about ready to go back to the lower memory. I hope this works. Thanks for the pointer. I guess they might not have released it as a general windows update if it is only affecting a very small number of machines. Hard to tell really.
