From memory, it's not Kismet, it's actually the AirPcap driver. I forget exactly how to fix it (and I can't replicate it at the moment) but try opening up the AirPcap Control Panel and having a play with the different Basic Configuration settings, including resetting the configuration. I’ve come across that problem too. From memory, it’s not Kismet, it’s actually the AirPcap driver.
