Downloaded a CHM file but can’t view it?

Navigation to the webpage was canceled. What you can try: Retype the address

If you’ve downloaded a .chm file, but on opening it, can’t see anything, I have a solution for you :)

Ta-da

  • Right click on the file > Properties
  • Find the “Unblock” button, and click it.
  • Re-open the .chm and it should now display properly :)

    The mind boggles. Where is the dialog to warn you when you open the chm? This is good example of the decline of MS products. They are so big one hand does not know what the other is doing. MS is well on their way to becoming the next IBM.

    Thank you very much i had a CHM file and did not view the text then i UNLOCKed it and now is working…….
