Closing Comments on AirPcap tutorials

This is a tricky one.

I have decided to close the AirPcap posts to comments.

It’s been nearly a year since I began blogging about CACE Technologies’ AirPcap adapter, and over 6 months since I last touched an AirPcap adapter. The posts are now pretty stale and I haven’t kept up with developments in Windows WEP Cracking, making discussion on them rather irrelevant. I also just don’t have the time nowadays to respond to every email and blog comment that I get from the articles.

Sucks, but that’s the way it goes sometimes…

So, a lot of people at DisplayLink should be doing 4 or 5 times the amount of work ;)

Human Re-programming

It’s funny how we program ourselves to automatically do things, but only really notice when our environment changes.

Due to our office expansion, we’ve had to move our radio-key entry system from the inner door to the outer door of the office. I’ve just noticed that, as I pass through the outer door towards the inner door, I still automatically pull my security key out of my pocket and move towards where the key reader used to be - only to remember seconds later that it’s no longer there :)

Downloaded a CHM file but can’t view it?

Navigation to the webpage was canceled. What you can try: Retype the address

If you’ve downloaded a .chm file, but on opening it, can’t see anything, I have a solution for you :)

Ta-da

  • Right click on the file >  Properties
  • Find the “Unblock” button, and click it.
  • Re-open the .chm and it should now display properly :)
