Off the top of my head - here&#039;s what I did:

- Added the NIC drivers to MDT
- Right clicked on the &quot;MEDIA&quot; Deployment Point in MDT, then clicked Update
- Waited an age...
- Once it finished, I checked in the MEDIA location on the HDD (C:\Media\ for me) and copied the updated WIM file to the WDS server, then imported it as a boot image.

I have the E6400 series, and having a bear of a time getting it to work with MDT. Have used MDT to deploy, xp, vista, and server os.  I ahve added the new nic drivers, and chipset drivers to the system. so luck. 
did you have to do anyhting speical to get it operational ?  thanks in advance.
